This is what other people said after selling their car on PreWarCar.com
Riley Lynx finally sold (March 10, 2010)
Response to my advert was good, but there were several luke warm people who just wanted to hear more. And one dreamer, but one will always bump into those! The proper buyers responded within 2 weeks. The best response I got within 3 weeks after that it died out. In the last month I got 2-3 more.
In all I think I got 7-8 replies to the advert. 2 persons were serious, one from Belgium, one from Germany. I got a verbal commitment from the Belgian about a week or 2 after the advert went on. So this was good. The reason that the final deal took so long was basically the weather which both in Denmark and the Benelux was so cold and snowy that the buyer didn’t want to come till now. Anyway, finally last night we drove the Riley into the trailer and I received the final payment. I had to give a substancial reduction to the price, but in the present climate this is to be expected - if perhaps not ideal. It is my belief that both buyer and seller are happy - and in particular I am happy with Prewarcar.com as it has been the best medium for me to sell through. Kind regards and thanks for your great homepage. Henrik Schou-Nielsen Arkitekt/Designer MDD , Copenhagen, Denmark
1922 FIAT - Back to Italy after 90 years! (March 10, 2010)
The response to the PWC advert was very good. About 15 enquiries most of which seemed serious. 1 from England, 2 Dutch and 1 French. The rest were from Italy which is where the car is going - back home after nearly 90 years away! (Mike Crehan)
